Facebook groups

Where most of Malta is. Share there for the best reach.

Post on Lost Paws Malta first, then tap Share on Facebook on your post and paste it into the groups below. Each group has its own rules, so check them before posting.

Getting the most reach

  • Start with your town. Post in your town's residents' group and the ones next to it. Neighbours are the ones who'll spot the cat.
  • Tell the feeders. Post in the stray cat feeders' groups too. Feeders know the cats in their area and often spot a new face.
  • Then go big. Share in the large Malta and Gozo community groups too, not only the pet groups.
  • Repost every few days. Posts sink fast. Share again with an update, like "Still missing, last seen Tuesday".
  • Ask people to share it. A share puts your post in front of a whole new set of people.

Your town or village

Residents' groups are where neighbours look first. Pick where the cat was lost or found.

Lost and found pets

Share your Lost Paws Malta card here as soon as you post.

Stray cats and feeders

Feeders, trapping help and colony news.

Adoption and rehoming

For found cats nobody claims, and kittens needing homes.

Rescues and general pet groups

Rescues, sanctuaries and big general pet communities.

Biggest Malta and Gozo groups

Community groups with the most members. Most people aren't in a pets group, but they are in these.

Checked October 2026. Member numbers are approximate. Know a group we've missed, or one that's closed? Tell us.
